Divya Mehta is the senior vice president of legal for KONE Americas. In this role, Divya leads all aspects of Legal for the U.S., Canada and Mexico, including contract management; commercial and operational issues; general liability; corporate compliance; risk management; regulatory compliance, and technology issues.
Divya joined KONE in 2013 and has held several roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as deputy general counsel. During her over 18-year legal career, she also previously worked at the law firms of Segal McCambridge and Anderson Rasor in Chicago and has served as an Illinois Assistant Attorney General.
Divya received her Bachelors of Science in General Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota.
