KONE Corporation, press release, January 9, 2014
KONE has received an order to supply 32 elevators to B.S.R. Center TLV, a pair of 40-story office buildings in Tel Aviv, Israel. The two skyscrapers, located in Tel Aviv's new business center, will rise up to a height of 165 meters.
The order includes 22 KONE MiniSpace(TM) elevators, of which ten will have a top travel speed of 7 m/s. For the low rise section, KONE will deliver nine KONE MonoSpace® 700 elevators and one KONE TranSys(TM) elevator to further ease the flow of people and goods in the buildings. All of the elevators are equipped with KONE EcoDisc® hoisting machines which contribute to significant reductions in energy consumption.
The two skyscrapers will have more 100,000 square meters of Grade A office space above a commercial street level, as well as five underground levels of parking. Designed by BLK Architects, the developer is BSR Group and the main contractor is Ashtrom Construction and Engineering Ltd. Construction is expected to be completed in 2016.
